The Director of Development is responsible for driving the development strategy for Junior Achievement of Memphis and the Mid-South. This includes leadership of individual giving, legacy giving, grants, corporate support, stewardship, board engagement, development systems, and the planning of all donor-focused events.

Reporting directly to the CEO/President, this role plays a pivotal part in advancing JA’s long‑term sustainability—including oversight of the World Ready Fund and the 1955 Society, JA’s first‑ever legacy giving campaign. The Director will lead with operational excellence, provide strategic vision, build deep relationships across the Mid‑South, and ensure disciplined donor engagement driven by gratitude, integrity, and mission. The Site-Based Instructional Coordinator (full time) is responsible for assuring the quality and effectiveness of Site-Based Programs.

This role manages the activities of volunteers and teachers and ensures all activities meet quality and program implementation models and standards. The Coordinator maintains school and volunteer partnerships and ensures the best program experience for all constituents. (Job Description)

The Experiential Learning Instructional Coordinator (part time) assists with the daily operation of the Junior Achievement BizTown and Finance Park simulations. You will act as a resource to students, volunteers and teachers, and will support the implementation of program activities. (Job Description)

Experiential Learning Instructional Coordinators are expected to be available an average of 3 days per week during the school year (Sept-May).
